An Evening With Bonnie Langford

13 September 2019

Bonnie Langford has packed a wealth of experience on stage, television, radio and film both in the United Kingdom and America .... and it all began at Richmond Theatre!

Direct from London’s Savoy Theatre playing Roz in Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 - The Musical, Bonnie returns home to Richmond one night only to celebrate 120 years of the theatre.

Sharing songs and backstage stories from her glittering career on stage - including Gypsy, Cats, Chicago, 42nd Street; and on television - Dr Who, Dancing on Ice, The Hot Shoe Show, Eastenders and more.

Join Bonnie and her fabulous band of West End musicians led by Antony England as she takes us behind the scenes and the headlines with some stories that have never been heard before! Listen to the music she has performed alongside the music she loves, with tributes to some iconic leading ladies thrown in with a touch of Michael Buble and Stevie Wonder too!

Bonnie made her television debut at the tender age of six on Opportunity Knocks, but first appeared on stage at Richmond theatre at only 3 months old! Her connection to the theatre has continued and she has graced the stage on numerous occasions in musicals, concerts, pantomimes and even filmed the much-loved movie of Bugsy Malone on this very stage.

Hear all about those memories and many more in an evening of fun, reflection and celebration.
