Fane Productions specialise in the production of bespoke live events for leading talent.
We work with a diverse range of artists at the top of their respective professions, for whom live work adds an exciting dimension to their principal careers, whilst also acting as agents for other live work such as corporate bookings and keynotes. An innovative and collaborative company, Fane Productions work alongside agents, publishers and producers with a focus on creating dynamic live platforms to present and promote both the client and their work; be that a book, TV series, podcast or other venture.
We undertake full management of UK and international tours, including booking, production, promotion, marketing and general management. Tours currently on the road include clients such as Sir Michael Parkinson, Nigella Lawson, Grayson Perry, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, William Boyd, Stacey Dooley and Dolly Alderton. Recent production highlights include a season at the Southbank Centre with John le Carré, Margaret Atwood, and the Nelson Mandela Foundation, two nights at the Palladium in collaboration with BBC Radio 2 and the BBC Concert Orchestra, and the world premiere of Kathleen Turner’s one woman show at The Other Palace.
Separately, our programming team put on over 800 shows per year at central London venue, Crazy Coqs, with a mix of music, theatre, cabaret, comedy and literary events in one extraordinary 80 seat venue. And, looking to 2019, we will be launching our own spoken word festival: Words Weekend in Sage Gateshead.
The 24-year-old entrepreneur formed Fane Productions in February 2017 as an independent set-up with Fane’s full team, client roster and with financial backing from Original Talent Limited. Beginning his career aged 18 as the Assistant Maitre D’ at Brasserie Zedél, then moving over to manage the Crazy Coqs Cabaret & Jazz Club, Fane chose not go to university, instead forming Fane Management aged 19 in 2014 with his first clients including; Anne Reid, Celia Imrie and the Delfont Mackintosh group. In 2015, Fane Management was acquired by United Agents. Fane went on to set up and run their music arm for two years, United Music, before leaving to set-up Fane Productions.
Head of Public Figures Department
Jess has been part of the company since its inception working alongside Alex on every aspect of the business. She now heads up the Public Figures department managing all aspects of our tours and one-off events from booking & production, through to marketing, strategy, logistics and PR. Development of relationships with new venues and clients is another key role within Jess’ remit.
In her own time, Jess is a proud activist, a massive nature geek and one half of DJ Duo, Deaf By Disco. Labelled as 'Festival Favourites' By Bestival, playing everywhere from sweaty basement clubs in London to festival crowds of over 20,000.
James joined Fane Productions in November 2016 to head up the venue side of the operation. He is currently responsible for the programme at Live at Zédel with over 800 shows a year. Prior to joining Fane Productions James was Associate Artistic Director and then Creative Director at St. James Theatre, which he helped establish as one of London’s leading Off West End venues, culminating in its acquisition by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Theatre Group in 2016. His five years at St. James, seeing it from building site to vibrant cultural space, afforded James a wealth of experience in programming multiple art forms as diverse as theatre, musical theatre, comedy, cabaret, music and spoken word. He also produced and co-produced a number of productions.
Head of Events (Live at Zédel)
With a background in talent representation, entertainment marketing and hospitality, Andy joined Fane Productions in the Spring of 2017 to focus on the company marketing and administrative support for Live At Zédel. As of January 2018, Andy is Head of Events and in charge of the day to day show management and programming at Crazy Coqs.
Having previously worked at the National Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, Finborough Theatre and talent agency Curtis Brown, Serena joined Fane Productions in November 2017. She is a key member of the Public Figures department, working on all elements of the production, from our artists’ tours to one-off events. She is the first point of contact for the company and manages the day to day running of Fane Productions, as well as organising the technical side of Crazy Coqs. Prior to working in the 'biz', Serena trained as a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor in Thailand.
Production Coordinator and Corporate Booker
Hollie has a strong background in talent representation having previously worked at Curtis Brown in Jacquie Drewe’s office. She joined Fane Productions in the Autumn of 2018 to focus on building a corporate arm of the business, whilst working across the public figures tours. She is excited to build and create new relationships with upcoming talent, touring, and corporate clients.
Literary Events Coordinator
Georgina joined Fane Productions in September 2018 to focus on literary events from artists’ tours and festival appearances to one-off events. Prior to joining Fane Productions Georgina was a commercial and Intellectual Property solicitor and most recently a member of Curtis Brown Literary Agency working as part of the Translation Rights team.
